Health
program

Health is the foundation of wellbeing.

Epidemiological Focus:

In Mexico, 1 in 8 rural children suffers stunted growth due to malnutrition.

Our evidence-based program:

Through the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition “Salvador Zubirán”, we monitor the nutritional status of students across all basic education levels, from preschool through high school. We conduct biannual evaluations of each child’s weight, height, and hemoglobin levels. This allows us to identify and monitor cases of anemia, underweight, overweight, and stunted growth, providing iron supplementation when necessary.

Huntington's Disease in Valle de Bravo

Huntington’s disease is an inherited neurodegenerative disorder that causes involuntary movements, cognitive decline, and psychiatric symptoms, leading to complete dependency and death. While incurable, palliative treatments exist. In El Manzano, Valle de Bravo, it has affected multiple families for decades, impacting their emotional, economic, and social lives.

We collaborate with national and international institutions to provide:

  • Multidisciplinary care
  • Improved quality of life
